Provenance: [1-2] unseal contemporary, Tokyo

Condition: [1] There are scuff marks and scratches throughout the surface, cracking in places, and light dent marks along the edges in places. The leather portion of the oar shows deterioration due to aging. There are cracks near the screw holes which are thought to be original condition. [2] Good condition. [3] Good condition. There are minor discoloration throughout the surface due to aging, light crease mark near the lower right corner, an ink mark near the lower left center. The verso is not examined out of the frame since it is mounted on a mat. [4] Good condition. There are minor discoloration throughout the surface, two tiny ink stains which are thought to be original condition, faint discoloration along the edges due to aging (please refer to detail images taken under UV light). [5] There are creases, scuffs, and scratches throughout the surface, and light warping along the left and right edges. [6] Good condition. The mirror is dull due to aging. There is some dust inside the frame. The work is not examined out of the frame since it is mounted on a mat.
