Special sale to be held at the Tokyo International Forum
SBI Art Auction is pleased to present the second edition of "Tokyo Contemporary: Redefined", a special auction which will be held at the Tokyo International Forum on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
"Tokyo Contemporary: Redefined" is a well-curated sale launched in 2022 with the concept of redefining the modern society we live in through art.
Continuing from last year, the sale will take place simultaneously with "Art Fair Tokyo 2023", one of the largest art fairs in Japan, at the Tokyo International Forum. We have prepared a selection of works by artists of the same era, and through this sale, we hope to bring you the experience of "Tokyo Today"!

Talk Session "Let's check the data! Is Art an asset?"
We invite Mr. Takei and Ms. Ishii from QUICK Corporation's Innovation Planning Dept. to talk about the studies on data analysis of art, which the company has been working on since 2017, including data from SBI Art Auction. They have been partly contributing to annual report of "Japanese Art Industry Market Research Survey" supported by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.

We are working to grow and expand the Japanese art market by actively introducing not only the works of artists who symbolize the Japanese art market, but also the works of overseas artists who are rarely exhibited in domestic auctions.
